He's from Boone County, right?

Pitt should be able to run right through Seattle, IMO.

Pitt is way too hot in this postseason.

ESPN was saying the same thing with Carolina.

People don't give Seattle enough credit.

ESPN is gonna be all over Pittsburgh's nuts, more East Coast Bias from ESPN.

Congrats bro.

I'm happy to see the Steelers go to the Superbowl against the Seahawks which should be a good game to watch. Now I hope the Bears get off their @sses and do something next season.

Yep. My high school plays them the first game of the year every year. I'm not sure how far that tradition goes back. Anyway, my senior year (and his as well), he had 5 TD's against us. My best friend was the kicker on our team and one time he kicked off to the other guy that was back with Shaun. That guy sprinted to the other side of the field and handed the ball to Alexander who then ran 80 yards or whatever for a TD. My friend was the last guy chasing after him if you see the video footage. In fact, I think they showed some of Alexander's highlights from that game once on ESPN this year.

True, but why all of a sudden did he become the sentimental favorite? I just don't understand why there needs to be someone who "it would be good to see win a super bowl."

I hate the two week layoff......media outlets find the dumbest stories to cover......2 weeks of boring, played out story lines.....

Yeah, first it was Dungy. Now Bettis.

Had Denver won, I don't know what ESPN would do. :y4:

...Maybe I'm off-base here...I don't recall anyone on ESPN saying Carolina would "run through" Seattle, since Carolina was left with no running game when Foster was hurt.

The ESPN guys have given Seattle PLENTY of credit. Just because some of their analysts pick them to lose doesn't mean they're biased.
