He's not going to be 100% all season. Generally from those injuries they aren't 100% till the second year.

All I have to say is that while it sucks Carson Palmer had to suffer that kind of injury at least the fans of the NFL get to benefit as we get to see a TRUE and not manufactured rivalry really flame up because of it.

I think the Bengals won't be nearly as good as last year but I see them being a playoff team.

Check out the new and improved Rudi Johnson.....note the enthusiasm in the announcers voice, LOL. But he does look like he lost some weight over the offseason.

I don't think it's out of line to say he could top 1,600 yards this year.

Carson Palmer said today that he will not be playing in the 1st preseason game this Sunday vs. Washington. Obviously, we shouldn't read too far into it, but it appears that it is not 100% that Palmer will be starting under center for the regular season opener.

I agree. He's entering the prime of his career with a very good O-line and passing game around him. He should have a very nice year.

The plan all along has been for Palmer to sit out the first two preseason games. Marvin said if he doesn't play in the last two preseason games, he won't start the opener, so the Green Bay game should be when we need to be concerned whether or not Palmer is playing. Palmer is now getting 70-80% of the snaps in training camp whereas last week he was only getting 40% of the reps, so that's a good sign.

Well, him getting that many snaps has only happened once, and that was this morning. And, he didn't even take a single snap in the 2nd practice.....so its not like he's routinely taking 70-80%. It just seems to me that a couple of weeks ago everyone was saying he'd be starting week 1, and now it doesn't seem that clear.
