Yep, we'll start to see if that Bobby Carpenter first-round pick was a wasted one. They drafted him to start there, but Ellis made the transition so well, Carpenter has barely suited out.

If they win next week, all the Cowboys homers will proclaim Romo as the next coming of Jesus Christ himself!
Or in reality terms, the next Aikman.

Parcells today said he wasn't sure who he was going to deploy at that spot, and that more than likely it would be more than one person depending on the personnel package.

Yeah, saw it. Glymph is more likely IMHO. I know it was preseason, but he really showed a lot as a pass rusher, something they will desperately need or Manning will eat that secondary alive. Not that he won't otherwise, lol. I predict a high scoring game, possibly coming down to whoever has the ball last. Can't wait for this one!

Carp almost had a sack coming in after Ellis went out, but I don't see him doing much coming off the end. I think he'll be better in coverage though.

He did specifically mention Glymph in the press conference, and said he would more than likely be used in pass rush situations. He said, he needed to figure out how they were going to defend the Colts first, then they would figure out how to employ the different personel and packages.

Re: Tony Freakin' Romo

I think in the end, Carpenter gets first crack at it. He was drafted to play the spot but was moved inside after Ellis played better than expected. I think Carpenter will get a shot.
