Wow..that's a really old version of Summer Games. The Epyx "Games" series were the best sports games of their time, IMO

Yeah, I loved all the ones you posted. But I had them all for my Sega Master System. Well, except that 1st pic of your is from the same Epyx version of the game as the one I posted, tthough it might have been from the Atari port.
The dash just wasn't the most visually stunning of the events.

The pic has to be from an Atari port. The C64 track had animated "spectators" that would say USA in the stands and stuff.

My favorite (as I mentioned) was World Games, though I never could figure out the bull riding and log rolling events.

I didn't have a C64.
My friend directly across the street did. So play time was limited.
But his was one of those houses where it wasn't OK to just go over to all the time. He had to ask if it was OK for all of us to come over and play the C64. Though in the parents defense, "us" was 10 boys all in the same grade in my tiny neighboorhood. Was just a weird conincidence. If you were older or younger, there was allmost no one to hang out with.

Once I got a Sega Master System though, all the old Epyx games got ported to it. So i played them all the time. I could hacky-sack like a mo-fo. California Games was by far my favorite come to think of it. Really, I could just blow that whole game up.

I was terrible at the surfing event. I think my best was the frisbee toss on that one.
