Payton, or Mangini will win, both have had tremendous seasons as first year HC's.

but I would vote for Jeff Fisher, the Titans started out 0-5 for crying out loud..and now they have a winning record at 8-7 and have a slight chance at making the playoffs.

Payton will probably win, Mangini should.

Payton isn't a bad choice, though.

I voted for Sean Payton just because of the gratitude of the situation. Although I believe that Eric Mangini is doing an amazing job with the Jets and it could be a toss up between the two.

Sean Payton. To take over a team that had the #2 pick in the draft, and make them the #2 seed in the conference in the playoffs right off the bat, is remarkable.

Yep.

Doesn't Payton also have to receive consideration for getting Brees to go to New Orleans as well? I know the G.M. is the one that signs the players, but I think Payton had a lot to do with Brees picking New Orleans over Miami (besides the obvious monetary concerns).

Nevertheless, that city was almost destroyed a little over a year ago and their NFL team was a group of gypsies. Now they are being mentioned in the same breath as the Superbowl.

Incredible.
