Re: 9ers @ Broncos

Big mistake not playing for the tie! I realize you want to go in on a good note, but getting in is the first step! Bad coaching move there.

Seems like guys are starting to get Nolan's system down on defense and the offense is going to get better as Alex continues to progress.
of course it's not crazy to think playoffs next year. you had a shot this year as bad as the NFC was.

Acutally, I think Denver was playing for the tie.

And that's what killed them in my opinoin. When you play not to lose, you lose your agressiveness. Therefore, more often than not, you will end up losing when you play not to lose.

If they were playijng for the tie they would have ran the ball more and instead of less.

Chill out Brandon

Quote:
"Whenever you get on the 1-yard twice and in the red zone three times and you don't score no touchdowns that's pathetic," Broncos rookie receiver Brandon Marshall said. "We have a lot of work to do.
"San Francisco?" Marshall added. "Come on, San Francisco? It was a perfect setup for us."

Re: 9ers @ Broncos

He's not right to dismiss SF like that, but he is right in that they had perfect opportunities to score and couldn't. That IS pathetic, and as a Broncos "supporter", their playcalling was absolutely horrid today.

Oh don't get me wrong- they should have won the game (I was pulling for them too!).
