Do people still think Samardzija is good?

I certainly don't want Samardzija on the Pats. I'd rather grab a young, talented LB like a Buster Davis or Timmons with our second pick.

Good-looking mock.

I think Sidney is a true Soph. and isn't eligible for the draft yet.

He's a redshirt sophomore, so he is eligible.

I could've sworn I heard during the Liberty Bowl that he had told Spurrier he'd be back though.

I don't know about Houston taking Adrian Peterson. Yeah, I wouldn't mind him, but I want help on the defensive side of the ball first and foremost.

I'm afraid that management is going to get scared and give into the public by going with marketability and flash rather than something they actually need more. I think they'll go with the right decision though, and not pander to public opinion. Kubiak doesn't seem like a guy who necessarily cares, and will do what he thinks is right whether the public thinks it's the right thing to do or not.

Plus, we can grab a late-round running back. That won't be a problem. Another year of drafting for OL and one more offseason with Kubiak's zone blocking scheme should be fine.

April can't get here soon enough.

Ditto. I don't know much about McCaulley so I can't comment but I don't want Samardzija. First off, I don't think he's as great as advertised. Secondaly, no one seems knows if he plans on playing football or baseball. IMO, not worth the risk.

I can't see Jarrett falling to 19.

Why wouldn't GB go with a QB in the first round?

Also, I think the Jets are going Defensive Line.

Edit: also, Quinn isn't the answer in Oakland. They should trade down. If anyone believes Quinn is a franchise QB out the gate, they're fooling themselves. I don't even think he's as good as Alex Smith. I'd trade down and see if I can get 2 picks and would take an OL and Peterson.

But that's just me.

They invested a first round pick in Rodgers, so I'm sure they want to see how he pans out before going after another one.
