He'll never be MVP with Brady healthy.

I said on draft day this guy was the best football player in the draft. Don't know how you pass on him unless you truly don't need a running back.

He's special. And not just because of his numbers. I never expected these kind of numbers obviously. But he's got that look about him that the greats have/had. He's got the pedigree. His career could end on his next snap, you never know. But if we play pretend and say this guy can stay healthy for 8-10 years, he could be one of the greats. He just reminds me so much of so many great ones from the past.

But let's just enjoy him now. He's special.

I'll be interested to see how he does next year when defenses prepare more for him.

In my opinion he is having the best offensive season in the NFC to this point. Obviously Brady has MVP on lockdown.
I don't know- AD is going to enter the MVP talk very soon if he keeps this up. Like Brady, he is entering territory that is unprecedented IMHO. The Vikings simply cannot pass the ball and he's still tearing up the record books.

He's easily already one of my favorites in the game because I just love the attitude with which he runs. If the Vikings had somebody who could throw the ball, wow.

AD is Eric Dickerson reincarnated...he's a violent runner, but what's most impressive about Peterson is his patience to see a hole develop and then switch gears. I almost feel sorry for defensive backs trying to stop him...hell, I feel sorry for most Linebackers who try to stop him. I knew he was going to be a special player when I first saw him in the HS All American game. Dude did not look like he was entering collegiate ball.

Dickerson didn't run people over like Peterson.

Peterson reminds me of Gayle Sayers. They have that same gallop down the field, and both run upright with tremendous power and speed.
