According to an AP article, Dwight Freeney will be placed on injured reserve list and might be replaced by the recently-acquired Simeon Rice. Freeney has been diagnosed with a Lis Franc injury.

Very big loss for Indy. They've been hit with a lot of key injuries, but I wouldn't count them out yet.

They're getting hit like the Pats have in years past. Hopefully the Pats can stay healthy, and hopefully the Colts don't keep getting injured.

that secondary is about to get alot less epic with Freeney gone

Big loss for the Colts. He hasn't put as as big sack numbers in the past 2 years like he had in the past, but that is because he constantly draws double and even triple teams. Mathis will probably see most of the double teams now on him now which might kill their pass rush.
