Re: Thanksgiving Day Football Thread

Greg Jennings TD on the quick slant.

Aaron Rouse has been playing very well at Safety the past few games for the Pack. Nice play to step in front of CJ to make the INT one play earlier.

You'd think eventually I'd get used to seeing Jeff Backus get destroyed off the edge...

Re: Thanksgiving Day Football Thread

Kitna looks like Carr out there. Just a standing target that holds the ball too long.

Re: Thanksgiving Day Football Thread

Nah that was a catch for sure. Pretty good game so far. I do think the Pack need to at least TRY to run the ball a bit in the 2nd half. Hopefully the injuries to Woodson and KGB aren't too serious.

Seems like there aren't very many check down, short option routes for him to go. Looks like just about every pass play in Martz' playbook is of the 5 to 7 step drop, long developing routes variety.

In order for the Lions to have a better chance in the 2nd half they must convert opportunities in the Red Zone into Touchdowns. They've missed too many opportunities with good field position, a few drops from Calvin Johnson are hurting as well.
