Re: Pro Bowl Selections

It isn't only rushing... It is total yards.

Well then Taylor never had a shot - they use Jones-Drew exclusively on 3rd down - Taylor hardly ever goes out on pass routes these days. Not because he isn't good at it, but because Jones-Drew is exceptionatly good at it.

I'm also a little biased. Not just toward Fred Taylor (obviously, I'm a jags fan), but I also think that recieving is overvalued in some RB's. If that is your system, great, but in many systems, the RB does not get catches. Recieving is a nice bonus to me, but the rushing is what's important.

I like Addai, I think he's a great back. But I think Taylor (and maybe McGahee) deserved it more. Let's face it, a lot of Addai's success comes from the fact that he has Manning as a qb. Garrard has been good, but the Jag's passing game doesn't back off the safties a whole lot. That Ravens passing game does even less. Addai's passing game gives him room to run. Nobody plays the Colts and says "we have to stop the run." No, it's "we have to stop Peyton." Everyone who plays Jacksonville or Baltimore does so focusing on the Run. I think that deserves some recognition too.

Re: Pro Bowl Selections

DeMeco gets in (of course), and Mario, Demps, and Kris Brown are alternates. Mario got snubbed, but I think the votes were in before this last game...

Re: Pro Bowl Selections

Demeco named a starter

No one from my Bucs though...kinda sad...but I'd rather a division title anyways.

If you had Jason David on the other side would you pass up throwing it his way?

Jason David missed 3 or 4 weeks with an injury...
