Life isn't fair. The same thing happened to Ditka in '85. I'd personally like to see Billick in an OC role again but I don't know if his ego could handle that.

Re: Ravens fire Billick?

They came so close to beating the Colts last year. Didn't that Raven team go 13-3. Steve McNair became an old qb over night and the team played without so many key players. I think it was more of a personality issues versus performance issues. I wonder will Rex Ryan get his chance to be a head coach.

On that note I really hope Singletary lands a job and loved what he did for the Ravens, but he'd be a bad fit. They need someone with some history or at least is offensive minded if they can hang onto Rex. I think Rex (with a new O coordinator) would be the only D minded coach that would be good.
I will give him respect... but I would be like mcbeth's wife washing the blood off my hands... it would never be clean

Re: Ravens fire Billick?

After listening to some of the owners press conference on ESPN did the owner say he hoped he and Billick would remain friends forever?
