It shows that most QB's that had a high completion % and started many games are usually more successful.

I'd be more inclined to look at YPA and TD/INT ratio.

Id like to see Completion % on passes over 20 yards from the LOS. But INT/TD ratio would be probably the best indicator, because it will give you a good read on his decision making.

I may live in Boston, but I'm not a BC fan. That being said, I did get to see quite a few BC games over the last couple of years and Ryan looks like a legit NFL prospect to me. I don't know that I'd make him the number 1 QB in the draft but he has all of the necessary tools to make it in the NFL. His completion percentage is bad because the receiving corps at BC is awful. I'd be shocked if any BC receivers were even drafted. And their running game is non-existent which is why his picks are high because he throws every down. Most games they wouldn't even try to run. If anyone at BC is overrated its their coach, coach "Jags," who came in and took last year's team and lead them to a decent record over a pitiful schedule. Peter King seems to think this guy is going to get some looks as an NFL head coach this offseason.

Ryan has the poise of an NFL Qb and he comes across as a guy who "gets it" and obviously has the arm to get it done. There's no guarantee on any guys coming out of the draft and he certainly wouldn't be able to come in and lead some team to the promised land in his first or second year. If I were the GM of a team that needed to draft a Qb I'd certainly give Ryan a good long look before making a decision.

Well according to many (Kiper, Mayock, McShay, King) that Ryan is right now the #1 QB coming out. Here is something I found on another site that is very interesting though.

The main complaint about Ryan is his tendency to throw interceptions. And yes, 19 picks in one season looks bad. But when you think about it, it's really not as bad as it seems. Ryan threw the ball an outrageous 654 times this season. That's almost 47 times a game. So you better believe that some interceptions are going to be thrown. On average though, Matt Ryan threw a pick every 34 passes. To compare, Colt Brennan's rate this season was a pick every 33 passes and last year's #1 overall pick JaMarcus Russell threw a pick every 42 passes last season. So 34 isn't a terrific rate, but it's not a bad one. And when you consider that Ryan played behind shoddy protection and with below-average receivers in a pro-style offense in a BCS conference, I'd say that number is far more than just respectable.

Ryan also played in a new system this year with no running game.

with all this said I think Ryan or Brohm would be a safe pick but Woodson i think has a great upside to him.

I know Ryan is going to the Senior Bowl. I believe Brennan will also be there. I am not sure about Brohm and Woodson going though. So that is where you can start the comparing them to each other.
