...Will the Manning / Rivers trade back in the draft affect who you root for?

I know this matchup is highly unlikely, but it brings up a very very interesting matchup that nobody dreamed of on that Draft Day.

I'll root for Rivers only because he will be the AFC representative. But Manning has obviously come into his own.

If this happens, then it'll be one of the worst super bowls in years. And I thought last year's was dull.

I think it would be a great superbowl w/ a lot of crazy happenings.

I think that SB would be horrendous. One of the Patriots and Packers HAS to make it to give it a good story.

Is that all that matters with the Super Bowl? A story?

How about this story: Chargers take down the top 2 teams in the AFC being the weakest conference championship, to play in the Super Bowl.

Bah, story is overrated. I'm not going to watch the Super Bowl just because the Patriots are unbeatable. I'm going to watch the Super Bowl because it's the Super Bowl.

No, but a good story makes it a hell of a lot more interesting.

Patriots: 19-0, history in the making
Packers: Favre having career year at what? 37/38 years old?
Giants: No story really
Chargers: Rivers being a punk, LT crying if they lose, and what else?

If the Chargers/Giants match-up happens...for the third straight year I will watch about five total minutes of the Superbowl.

If the Patriots don't make it...I'll really have no interest in the game. At least seeing Favre try to win another one would give me a reason to watch.

Chargers Vs Giants just...doesn't do that for me. Absolutely nothing redeeming about that game.
