Yea I know but I cant really explain it, they seemed like they didnt understand the simpliest things. He was teaching them playaction and it took them forever to get their steps right.

Isn't this an annual assessment of black QBs every single year come combine time?

If he falls to the 2nd round, who gives a crap. He'll probably be better off.

I'm really sick of the combine.

I wonder who will be this year's "******" after the Wunderlich scores get "leaked".

Re: There's not a lot buzz on the QB Draft class of 08.

Of course I'm a litle biased towards Andre, but I think all of this Senior Bowl stuff is garbage. You don't put up numbers like he did against quality SEC teams for two straight years and all of a sudden lose it over a couple of days. Same for Brennan and Ainge. I've watched every UK football game for the past 15 years and I can say unequivocally that Andre Woodson is twice the QB Tim Couch ever was. Yeah, Couch struggled, but he was the #1 overall pick and scouts seemed to love his "quick" delivery and his "soft touch."

This type of overanalyzation is what leads to Tom Brady falling to the 6th round, Joe Montana to the 3rd round, etc....and players like Cade McNown, Ryan Leaf, Joey Harrington, and Alex Smith being drafted early.

Yeah, Woodson's delivery may be a little slow, but so what? It can be easily fixed. This same "guru" named Todd McShay was the guy who was praising Woodson at the beginning of the season saying that it was a "dead heat" between him and Brohm for the #1 QB. Now Ryan is #1 and Woodson's a 2nd rounder after putting up 40 TD's and 11 int's his senior season? What, am I missing something?

This class may not be the Marino, Elway, Kelly class of '83 but it's not as bad as people are making it out to be.

Young QB, usually look like that in these sort of events. I don't think it will cause their stock to drop too much. Unless there are throws they simply can't make.

Usually these weeks of prectice and the game do nothing but raise certain QB stock. Usually the ones that grasp the stuff faster than the normal kids do and show they can take what they learn in the classroom and apply it to the field right away.

See Phillip Rivers, he went at least a round earlier than a lot of people thought he would, mostly based on his Sr. Bowl week.

With that being said, I think Henne, Woodson, Booty, and Flacco have a chance to be really good down the road. They are not going to step in and "be the man"....same goes for Ryan and Brohm....but they all have a chance to be really good.
