I don't even know what to say. Why would Detroit trade him?

You don't see Arizona trying to trade Boldin or Fitzgerald. Keep him with Calvin Williams for a great, long term WR duo.

I just don't get it.

Calvin Williams? LOL

And Roy doesn't want to stay. He'd leave after next season anyway, probably to Dallas. See that's the strange thing, when your team and franchise as a whole is a disgrace, the good players tend to leave. It's weird...

If they trade Roy, Calvin will be the only WR left on the team from those four years.

CJ was 07. Ernie Sims was 06.

Given Detroit's draft record in the second round, they might as well just give Williams his unconditional release because you are essentially getting nothing for him.

I root for the lions to lose every game anyways. I can't & won't support anything Millen. So this move pleases me. Unfortunately, the Lions are still good enough to win 4 or 5 games without Roy, so Millen will be sticking around.

On a side note, if Roy celebrates 1 more first down when the Lions are down by 35, he should be run out of town anyway.
