as long as what the players are doing abide to the nfl rules who cares? are you going to fine a player for doing a celebration within the rules? i mean would you rather the player celebrate and then a company gives money to charity without informing the league? now i could see stiffer fines or penalty's if a player does something for another company that is not within rules(which a player would not do anyways) but punishing a player for doing nothing wrong is hypocrisy at best.

This will eventually lead to Derek Jeter doing the chicken flap before stepping into the batter's box during the baseball playoffs.

One rule should be that players cannot accept $$ from outside companies for actions that they partake in while on the field. Thus my point of posting this.

I hope someone does it now, just to piss people off.

That'd be hilarious!

What if Joe Buck does it?

Too bad T.O. or Chad Johnson aren't playing.

I agree with you somewhat, but they are already doing this throughout the NFL. I was listening to one of the Championship games that past weekend (not sure which one), but players already have money donated to charity for sacks or interceptions or other statistical opportunities.
