Re: Will we ever see this again?

while it is unusual, it is also bullsh*t...

Peyton was not the MVP of SBXLI, that was Mungro and Addai....
Eli was not the MVP of SBXLII, that was any member of the DLine...probably Tuck...

What we have here is the inevitable result of ESPN's continuing decline into soap opera....

My Question:
Will we ever see a SBMVP in which someone other than the celebrity player is crowned?

ESPN and soap operas don't have anything to do with it. Take a look at the list of Super Bowl MVP winners. Do you see a lot of non-superstar players on that list, even before ESPN was big?

Over the past six Super Bowls, we've had Deion Branch, Dexter Jackson and Hines Ward as MVPs. I wouldn't call those "celebrity players."

Anyway, I doubt will ever see the brothers winning back-to-back SB MVPs ever again. Quite a feat for the Manning family.

How about Chuck Howley winning the MVP when his team lost?-another slap in the face of the Baltimore Colts.

Haha, I saw that when I pulled up the Wiki list. Now THAT's something we'll never see again.

The bigger question is, where the hell does all this leave Cooper?
