I don't see how the '90 team or this year's team can even be in the discussion when they weren't even the best team in their own conference those years.

They only won one less game then the Niners (the '90 team) so it's not like they're in the same boat as this past year's team.

I'd have to say '86. Very good offense plus arguably the best linebacker unit in the business.

Who's the best team in the NFC this year? Are you strictly talking about record? There's no way the Cowboys or Packers would have beat the Patriots.

I picked this Giants team. I am biased towards it because they're the first of my teams to win it all since 93-94 when i established my favorite teams

The Cowboys lost to the Pats by 21 at home. The Giants lost by 3 in the regular season. The Giants have the Lombardi Trophy and thus are the best in the NFL.

But really... I just watched Eli Manning win the Super Bowl. It's impossible to say what would've happened if GB or Dallas made it to the Super Bowl.
