Dallas lost to the Pats when they were still in "invincible mode". Who's to say that the outcome wouldn't have been different if they had met again?

You're right about one thing-the Giants have the Trophy. Any discussion about who was the best begins and ends with that fact.

Well as far as teams on paper this years team should have been the one. As far as production and playing to their potential I have to go with the 86 squad. Each of those SB's have special meaning to me. I was a senior in high school when we won the 86 superbowl. I had just got out the Army and was just starting school when we won the second one. I actually got "some" after the game because my girl at the time was so scared they were going to recall me. Word is they were calling people back and they had already froze ETS. Nothing like getting "worried, hold on to your baby" stuff It's better than makeup stuff!

I'd also have to go with the 86 team. Those linebackers were so good: LT, Banks, Carson, Reasons, and a rookie Pepper Johnson. There were a lot of the same players on the 86 and 90 team but I'd take Simms and Morris over Hostetler and Otis.
