Illegal forward pass (passed the line of scrimmage) can be challenged. Also Illegal touching, reciever was out of bounds, came back in and was 1st to touch the ball, can be challenged. there are probably a few more but just providing some penalties, or non calls that CAN be challenged.

95% of all NFL plays involve a penalty of some kind, while I am surprised that no holding was called AS I WAS WATCHING the game, it wasn't. The Giants still had to score a TD.
