I have little to no faith in Mangini right now- I'll be honest, this is the lowest confidence I've had in the Jets. To be fair, during the Kotite years, I was only 12 or so and was a far more casual fan. Now that I'm serious, I can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm shocked J-Mac hasn't been cut yet. It really has to be only a matter of time.

Damn you Seattle!

Cimini reported 2 days ago that Clarke, Clement, McCarreins, and Dyson are likely to be cut. I just think that Tannenbaum is waiting to see who he can snag as a FA before cutting any of the guys. Boy, do I hope we can somehow sign Samuel seeing as New England will probably franchise Moss instead.

Clark stunk, Clement is just another guy who can be easily replaced. Dyson was constantly injured and J-Mac is one of the worst WR I have had the pleasure of seeing.

In other news, Peerless Price was cut by the Bills. Hopefully, he recovers from his neck injury and will be back in football soon.

I hear ya, what will sting more, is he will go to the Jets or Patriots. Like almost every ex-Miami player has done, that was cut in the last few years.

Good point. Thomas doesn't have the kind of size Parcells likes in his linebackers, but if a guy is a gamer, he will overlook it like he did with Dat.

The move has nothing to do with size and everything to do with age and cap number. Keeping him around would have cost Miami close to 8 million in cap next season. Not good for a guy who was already slowing down and is now starting to do a yearly Dan Morgan impersonation.

Zach will always be one of my favorite players, but it was time to cut him loose, and in all honesty, they should have traded him after the '04 season when they could have gotten something in return for him.

You're still allowed to sign players. Wahle wasn't a free agent, he was cut.
