More proof that 40 times are garbage.

I don't think speed was ever the question for DMAC. I think patience and run finishing at the next level are the big question marks.

What did Mendenhall run?

Not surprised on Manningham and Hart. But then I am a big believer that the 40 is not only the most overrtated measurement of speed, but is probably the most overrated measurable there is.

The thing I wonder about is this their actual speed or is it a speed on account of them going to those combine camps and constantly working on their 40 yard run drills.

Manningham had a bad 40 time, but in game he can beat you deep.

Manningham running a 4.59 proves again that 40 times mean nothing. He's faster than that in game.

With that said, he's not a 4.3 blazing kind of guy. He relies on the double move to get past the DB.

Mendenhall ran a 4.44. Stewart had the same time also.
