They won a Superbowl where they started two unheralded second year players and one undrafted rookie in the secondary and a rookie on the d-line. I wouldn't rule out anything.

The key for the Pats to be able to win is to infuse the linebackers with some youth. Seau tore his rotator cuff this year and was hurt the entire playoffs. Bruschi was slow and ineffective in the playoffs. And Colvin got hurt yet again, but is now gone. Brushi is a great team leader, and would be an awesome split-time player. But we need some youth and speed in the backers core. Vrabel and Thomas were great this year, but we need some youth...

The key for the Pats is to not lose to Eli ****ing Manning.

Short of that, any major changes (other than an LB or two) is an overreaction. They're still the best team in the NFL and should be the hands down favorite for the Super Bowl.
