Eh, he's had a down period but look at last year. He looked quite good at stretches. He can't help it if the Raiders want to go with Russell this year.

Who has done well for the Raiders since the Super Bowl? Did you say the same about Moss before this year?

In his last three years and 18 games, he has thrown 13 TDs as compared to 18 INT's with a QB Rating in the mid 70's. Two good years don't mean much when you're a washed up piece of crap by age 30.

Re: Looking Back at the QBs taken in the Draft

He wasn't supposed to hold down a job for the Raiders. He went in as a backup that was hoping to win the starting job. They never expected him or Mcown to be the QB this coming year so it wasn't like he was yanked for ineffectiveness. In Miami he rushed himself back from injury too fast basically. He may never get back to his previous years due to the injury... time will tell. But when a guy is arguably the best QB in the league before getting hurt, I find it hard to call him a failure... let alone a "colossal failure", especially outside of a top 5 pick.

Would you want to start on the Raiders?
