Re: Warren Sapp Calls it Quits

I thought I remember reading he had retired before the SB had even been played. Sapp even said something like the real 99 was long gone and he was not that anymore.

LMAO!!! That "Beyonce" dance he did in the endzone was one of the funniest and most disgusting moments in NFL history!!! I remember laughing for days at that, I was certainly hoping someone would post a youtube clip of that, but this is good enough.

Re: Warren Sapp Calls it Quits

Sapp was always a fun guy to watch play. He played the game the right way 99% percent of the time. I think it's kinda poetic that he retires the same day as Brett given all their classic and playful trash talking over the years. Enjoy your retirement Warren thanks for the memories!

Always liked W Sapp, it looks like the hall of fame class in 5 years already has 2 spots filled.

Re: Warren Sapp Calls it Quits

Of course you weren't making it up.

He announced it immediately after the regular season finale.

He filed the paperwork when this announcement came out and "made it official"...how that suddenly made it newsworthy again to the media is beyond me, though.

Most think Sapp is a shoe in, anyone think Bryant Young is as well? pretty simliar numbers. Young played one season more and had 7 less sacks.
