I know some of you are going to laugh about this man dressed as a woman (Jake is the one in blue); but I would like to applaud Mr. Long.

He is a trail-blazer much like John Amechi. The courage that Jake is showing by putting on his dress and telling the world "I'm a very pretty girl, who is here to party" is something all of us should strive for.

I hope other athletes follow Jake's lead and come out of the laundry room in their fabulous dresses with matching shoes and tell the world "I am a transvestite. Hear me roar!"
