Because I didn't watch the draft, and I didn't know. Don't like the thread, don't post in it. Simple as can be.

Re: What team had the best draft?

KC basically hit a home run on every pick. Miami also had a very good draft.

Hmm...thanks for mentioning them, I'll have to look over their picks.

See, that's another reason I was asking. I've seen people say that, but just at a quick glance, I wasn't too thrilled with a couple of our later round picks.

First day, I don't think it's in any doubt that the Chiefs had the best draft, but some of the second day stuff I wasn't happy about. I'll have to look over things a little more.

Carl Peterson is no Matt Millen.

Yeah, KC looks good because they have so many picks. They made a lot of sexy picks that the guys at ESPN liked. I personally liked Pittsburgh's draft better, if you consider that KC gained all those guys at the expense of Jared Allen.

Re: What team had the best draft?

Probably KC, but the Steelers had a nice draft as well. I always try to view the Steelers draft without the "homer goggles" on, but I really loved this years draft. I'm excited to see a backfield of Parker/Mendenhall and to see what Limas Sweed can add.

I'm also interested to see what they do with Dennis Dixon. It sounds like he'll be a slash type player at first and the ultimate goal is to groom him into the backup QB once Charlie Batch retires.
