Not to mention, the cops (even river patrol) are not going to attack a wealthy sports star without provocation.

Could they have overreacted? Sure.

But coming on like Cedric Benson is Mr. Innocent and the gestapo "oppressed him" for no reason is ridiculous.
How well do you know Benson. I mean like family, your grew up with him, asked him for a autograph . I don't know him at all but since you have this insight maybe you could deeper into his personality.

In our legal system a person is innocent until proven guilty. So, Mr.Benson is Mr.Innocent.

If a law enforcement officer overreacted then it could be abuse of power.

Peace

Benson "a thug"? That term doesnt fit him. A lot of terms fit Benson (including "bust"), but "thug" is not one of them.

as far as "gestapo"...the APD rejects, doh i mean many in the LCRA, are known for stuff like this. Ive been on Lake Travis countless times. Trust me, these accusations against them are not a suprise.

this entire situation is screwed up. As a Bears fan, I'm kind of mixed on the situation. I wouldn't mind seeing Benson go, but I also don't want management to overreact and release him if he's found to be innocent. Whatever. Either way, it probably means more PT for Forte, who's supposed to be pretty good

My man, he needs to go. I don't care if he is 100% innocent. He wore out his welcome 2 years ago and now with the injury he suffered, he will be even worse.

I heard Mike Mulligan on the score the other day that the Bears might have to wait until June 1st to do something with him and don't be surprised if they indeed do that. Needless to say, I think he is gone.

Re: Hey news about Cedric "The Bust" Benson

btw, in how many games has Benson been the starter thus far in his career? 12?

He has been a bust thus far, but it might be a little soon to talk about cutting him.

yea I guess so... I would still like to see how he can do when he's not the feature back, like splitting time with Forte and co. He did pretty well when he was in tandem with Thomas Jones.
