The father not being around and son longing for a father dynamic is very volatile. I have seen similiar incidents. I am not justifying fighting your father, but this issue has many layers and we really need to wait until everything comes out.

wwharton and utexas are exactly right. You can't judge him or this situation based on a couple of paragraphs......although the fact that he pulled a gun is pretty bad

Yeah, given the Jets need at WR, I was a little shocked they passed on Hardy. Then I remembered that Mangini is obsessive with making sure he gets good character guys.

This is a terrible thing to do, regardless of how angry you are at your parents.
