and you know because you are the great guru of what ifs.

Elway played in three superbowls and was outplayed by Simms, Montana, and Williams. Elway won when he had a dominant running game similar to Aikman.

It is kind of goofy comparing 2 HOF qbs because the most we can do is just speculate. Both qbs won when they had superior talent and I would take both qbs on my team.

No, it doesn't have anything to do with is "love" for the Cowboys, it has to do with not being a gigantic, unobjective, Cowboys homer.

You think Aikman carries those Bronco teams to all those SB"s like Elway did? Seriously?

I am sorry, you don't like it, but Elway was a superior player. He simply could make plays Aikman was not capable of. Aikman was a great player, but he wasn't at the level of Elway.

I know it's hard to believe there might be a player better than whomever was on the Cowboys roster, but it does happen.

If a couple of SB appearances where Elways teams were clearly overmatched is all you got, then enough said.
