Bills running back Marshawn Lynch will go to court on Friday to plead guilty to a traffic violation, and afterward will speak publicly for the first time about his hit-and-run accident, the Buffalo News is reporting.
According to the News, the two charges he could face are failure to exercise due care to avoid striking a pedestrian and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident. Both carry maximum penalties of $250 and 15 days in jail, but Lynch will almost certainly not go to jail.
“We’ll look at something that we feel fits the facts and fairly resolves the issues,” Erie County District Attorney Frank J. Clark said. “Those [two] sections are commonly used to resolve cases of people charged with leaving the scene of a personal-injury accident.”
Lynch’s lawyer said he would not comment until Friday.
Lynch’s SUV hit a woman and drove off at 3:30 a.m. on May 31. The woman, who was treated at a local hospital, has hired a personal-injury lawyer.

Since when did "arrests" mean anything? Henry and Pac Man have 872 arrests between them, but the most serious charges are a low degree assault and possession.

Lynch hit someone with a car and then drove away. This easily needs to be a year, but given the arbitrary nonsense that is Goodell's BS policy, it'll probably be 2 games.
