Thats so weird. I was at the Redskins vs. Cowboys this year. We sat in the lower bowl and everyone pretty much stood the entire game. It was cold and raining we stood and stomped on the aluminum for the duration. That just seems weird. Thanks Chaos for explain that a bit more.

Interesting, I was watching a classic Chiefs game last night ('94 vs 49'ers) and Madden and Summerall made a huge point about how the fans behaved during the game. Seems that people reacted based on where the teams were, for example there was a "quiet zone" for the Chiefs to call audibles without having to worry about the fans making a ton of noise.

Also the fans stood up during every play but didn't cheer, instead they cheered AFTER the play. I don't think the fans are that well coordinated at Arrowhead these days but that was INTERESTING.

Whenever I go to auburn games I have to sit down most of the time (I still stand up for kickoffs big plays and all) because my gramps's tix are in the faculty section because he used to teach at Auburn. Some of the people get angry, but it has some older people that can't stand up so they deserve the respect.

Well we do have plenty to cheer about.

I mean we could cheer for our 31st ranked offense last season, or maybe cheer for the fact that we traded our best player in the off-season.....well, I take that back, no, we don't.

They say the same things at most stadiums, but you know what, if i pay to go to a game, im cheering for my damn team, i will be on my feet. We arent there to go to church or sit on our hands, football is exciting, its ok to get excited.

What happens is a few people stand in the aisles, which pisses off the cops, and then some family goes to a game and they dont want to stand so they get mad.......but dont read too much into it, no way they throw anyone out without them being belligerent

I don't mind if you are standing for big plays, when something good happens, etc. There is no reason for you to stand all game though. If you can see, you should sit and be nice to those fans behind you. I stand during the big plays and I've been told to sit down by some grumpy old women behind me, but usually other people are standing, so I don't pay attention to them.
