Brian Mitchell won't make the HoF. He was a great special teams player, but that was pretty much all he was. If Bob Hayes is labeled as just being fast and he can't get into the Hall there is no way the voters will vote Mitchell in. He was a great, great player, but it's not the Hall of Great for a reason.

Don't kid yourself. There's such a huge bias against special teamers that hell will freeze over before Hester gets into the Hall. We still need Ray Guy and Steve Tasker in there first if there's going to be special teamers in the Hall.

I think Hester is in a unique position to make the Hall because he's been the more dominant in his 2 years than any player has ever been at his position. He has the 2 best years for returners ever and it's only been 2 years. Even with a large dropoff, he should probably double the high for career TD returns.

sorry, and it was not because i am a redskin homer, just knew mitchell had lots of all purpose yardage for his career. everyone on here knows bkrich knows more about football than anyone, so i will go with him and say he doesn't get in...
