The amazing thing about that is that he outran those zones 90% of the time. Sadly a big knock on Hayes (other then his drug issues) was that he didn't have the best hands in the world and often played terribly in cold weather games.

I like the list for the most part. I didn't realize Kramer wasn't in.

I'd put Hayes higher, and I am not sure why Steve Tasker is on this list. He was a great great role player, but he's not a HOF'er.. It's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Good at a single role.

So I guess you're one of those guys that doesn't think Ray Guy deserves to be in the Hall either right?

He's borderline. Remember I hate all kickers and punters.

But if you are going to put in a guy like Tasker, then you have to start with guys like Hank Bauer or Mike Nelms who did it better and earlier than Tasker.

It's the HOF. I think you need to be a trancedent type player to be in it. Tasker was a nice ST player, but there are others who did it better who aren't in. And I am not sure a ST player really deserves to be in the hall.
