Re: Brett Favre is a Jet

I would like to say that I am glad the drama is over and it will not litter the newspapers and television anymore....but I would be lying to myself. There will be even more reports now on when he reports, his first day of practice, his first preseason game, his first regular season game, etc. etc. etc. I will not say I am a Favre *****, but I sure grew to dislike him over this entire offseason.

Next we get to look forward to next offseason where all this crap starts again! All Right!

Bittersweet day for me

I've never had the feeling that I'm losing the character of the team I'm rooting for. Brett Favre is not the type of person I root for.

Tannenbaum says they will have a separate transaction regarding Pennington before 4 PM. Hopefully he ends up in Minnesota/Chicago/Kansas City.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't sign with one of those three teams. He'd fit in nicely with those squads but Minnesota is the best fit.

Like I've said, if the Jets get 05-06 Favre, this move just delayed the need to move to a younger QB.

Too bad the Jets will still go 3-13 this year. Anyone have an over/under on what the odds are the Jets draft another QB next year ?

Re: Brett Favre is a Jet

Are Jets fans happy about this? Is Favre happy about this?

Jets aren't good enough to make use of the year or two he has left, he might win them a few games but only give them lower draft picks and then he leaves and they are back to square one.
