Congrats to the New Jersey Jets for a great pick up. This should be a great year for them. Well until they have to play the Pats

Re: Brett Favre is a Jet

I...umm....have no idea what the hell to think right now.

I DON'T like Favre (too many flings into INTs).
I HATED this primadonna retiring B.S.

He's an immediate upgrade.
We got him for absolutely nothing.

I have to let this one sink in. But, right now, I am not happy. Just extremely confused.

Turned on my TV just now and saw this news so I'm still puzzled by it all.

No thanks, we don't want Pennington in K.C. I'd rather take my chances with Croyle. Pennington is horrible.

Re: Brett Favre is a Jet

Im glad that this whole Favre watch is over, but im really pissed the way it ended. Im a huge Favre fan, have been since the mid 90's (before the bandwagon got rolling). Ive been a Bucs fan to , so i always got to at least see him twice a year on TV. Lately the Packers ahve been on TV more (with Favre hinting at retirement) so ive been able to watch more games, but ive never gotten to see him play in person. Before he retired, the schedule came out and in Week 4 this year, the Packers were coming to Tampa and i would finally get to see him play. Then he retires, then he comes back and its either GB or TB (it seemed), so either way i get to see him.

Now, he goes to the freaking Jets, who arent ever on TV down here. Damnit. Just a little upset.

The Jets are now an entertaining circus, since I need to watch something when not replaying the as-yet-unnamed-greatest-play-of-all-time. So on the one hand, Favre might make the Jets do something that they have yet to do in my 29 years as an Earthling: win. Or, he could prove once and for all that the Jets are just a terrible team regardless of who they get. Can they take a Hall of Fame, Pro Bowl, NFC Championship Game-er from just one year ago and turn him into a washed up old man who should have stayed in the Tundra?

We'll see. Either way it gives me something to watch since the Giants have a free pass for the next five years.
Dude, that's what I came here to write!
