I don't mind him being like this on PTI. Shoot, that's what makes the show. But he has to learn to scale it back a little.

I knew I couldn't be the only one to notice something that's probably been apparent for a while now. Tirico has never been a favorite of mine, but Kornheiser I actually admired on PTI. Now I realize that guy is nothing short of a moron when he doesn't have a douche like Wilbon aside to make him look better. Jaworski is pretty good at what he does IMO.


I also knew I would not be able to tolerate their telecasts this year after watching Tirico do the Wizards/Cavs Playoff series this past April. He played up the Stevenson/LeBron "rivalry" bull**** more than anybody. It was so insane he was basically intentionally trying to piss off Wizard fans...chaunting "take that Wizard fans" when LeBron makes a big play. I guess he decided we needed him to participate in the foolishness as well, rather than do his job calling games with a fair and balanced view.


MNF will become good buddies with the mute button in my household this season.

Less can be more when it comes to commentary. It's never going to be a reality in America, but turn on International coverage of a European soccer game (GolTV, for example) and enjoy the silence.

I will often try and count to twenty while watching a NFL game in periods of silence, and I rarely get past five before someone starts chattering again.

I just watch the game. Most dumb down the game for the "casual fan. Few really give you any insight in the game.
