Re: Bills To Toronto?!

I hope they can move them to Toronto.

The problem is, I'm afraid you'll see the some of the same problems that NBA players have with playing in Toronto and Vancouver back in the day.

Re: Bills To Toronto?!

I live in toronto. I'd love an NFL team here, BUT...

I wouldn't want the bills to lose their team, and I'm ok with my current situation of being able to see any nfl team play on TV. I've been to a few bills games and I've got to say something:

It's better watching the game on TV - there I said it! It just is...

if anyone is interested in the laundry list why I'll share my views, but I know many agree and know what I'm talking about already.

Yes tailgaiting is fun and getting drunk in the stands is fun (with the strange beer that I bet has solvents in it), but watching the actual game is better plunked in front of a tv.

It is for the same reason the Blue Jays and the Raptors are so popular. They are CANADA's team. Imagine if the U.S. only had one pro team. Ratings for Blue Jays and Raptors games nationally is huge and Canada loves the NFL. Toronto charges huge $ for tickets for the Raps, Jays, and Leafs so I can only imagine what the Bills games in Toronto would cost.

Re: Bills To Toronto?!

I wouldn't mind seeing the Bills share games with Toronto over the coming seasons, but I wouldn't want to see them lose the team completely. For myself, going to a game whether in Toronto or Buffalo is the same long drive pretty much!

The above posters are right; now that the $ CND is going up, I don't think players will complain as much. And Toronto isn't some boring city. It's beautiful so players shouldn't complain about that either!

This isn't new news in any way shape or form, and hopefully it won't happen. It'll be bad for the NFL if this happens, the Bills are a tradition.

I think most of it is Ralph Wilson whining. Certainly there are smaller market teams... look at Green Bay, they make do just fine.

Actually its great for the NFL if it happens, it is opening up a whole country's market.
Canada would go nuts if it had its own team. And its not like it is the Steelers, Cowboys, etc, tradition that would be leaving it is the Bills!
