Actually the Jays middle of the pack when it comes to ticket pricing. I'm not too sure about the Raptors but Gucci Row seats cost upwards of a thousand dollars a pop and we all know the Leafs have been gouging everyone for YEARS.

So you make a good point, the problem is the suits would make Bills games very quiet and boring. If Rogers plans to have a long term commitment to helping the Bills generate money and be a viable NFL city (in case oh say JAX becomes available) then they're going to have create a section with cheaper ticket pricing. Argos games have a nice atmosphere and it's mostly because the "real" fan can go out there and create some noise.

No it isn't, and if you understood Western New York's economy, and the financial state of the team, you might understand why they are doing this.

They are doing this to KEEP the Bills in Buffalo, by hoping to create more interest in the team, and get the Bills fans to travel to Toronto, and vice versa.

Canada would go nuts if it had its own team. And its not like it is the Steelers, Cowboys, etc, tradition that would be leaving it is the Bills!
Regarding your first comment, I doubt it. Canada is a hockey-first place. Regarding your second comment, go play in traffic junior.

Re: Bills To Toronto?!

I am curious how many Bills players would demand a trade to get out of going to Canada.

What happens if they change the Bills to the Toronto Snow Bunnies?

That would be like the Browns moving to Baltimore or something. Totally unrealistic.

Why exactly would guys want to "get out of going to Canada" ? You seem to have very little knowledge about Canada and a very low opinion of the country.

There were financial issues when the Canadian dollar was really weak but right now it's pretty much on par with the US dollar.

Snow Bunnies? Are you one of those people who think Canada is a frozen wasteland or something? Did you know that there is basically no difference weather wise between Buffalo and Toronto? Driving from Buffalo to Toronto takes just little over 2 hours.

You're right that Canada is a hockey-first nation but the Ontario market and to a much lesser degree BC are hotbeds of NFL fandom. The NFL has pretty strong ratings week in and week out. Toronto can support an NFL team IMO.

On the 2nd point I do agree the Bills have a great tradition that goes beyond the Kelly Years.
