Re: Who Are Your Favorite/Least Favorite Football Analysts?

I hate to say this but one of my absolute favorites has completely lost it (I blame age) and that is Marv Albert. I get a huge dose of him on Bills games and well....He used to be one helluva football announcer but he just doesn't have it anymore. I think the lay off of 17ish years and age has robbed him of his vitality though he's maintained his strong work on the basketball side mainly because he's been doing that consistently over that same period.

Oh well........

Don't really have a lot of favorites, but Troy Aikman's homerism is quite annoying whenever he does a game that involves teams from the NFC East.

He is s huge homer for the NFC, it's not even funny. He got on my good side because he was huge supporter of Jason Campbell when he was here in D.C.

Phil Simms, is cool, I wish he did NFC games. Who at Fox decided John Lynch was a good commentator, seriously he called RG3, RJ3 like three times during Vikings/Skins game.

Favorite : Gruden @ Ditka. I wish Gruden would coach again. Atleast be a coordinator for the Saints please. I always love his QB interviews. Would look good working along Payton and Brees.

Least favorite : Tony Dungy. Great coach but what he says during games and shows are biased.

In Lynch's defense, that was Dick Stockton or who ever was the play by play guy that did that.

Re: Who Are Your Favorite/Least Favorite Football Analysts?

Trent Dilfer just gave the most honest analysis I have seen on ESPN in a while. The topic was the Eagles offense and their terrible offensive line. I thought Buffalo's was bad.
