Re: ESPN Names NFL's Best Fans

IMO Cowboys fans should be further down the pack. that's my only real gripe.

Re: ESPN Names NFL's Best Fans

Is it me or does it seem like ESPN is trying to be the end all be all when it comes to things like this. First, it was the stupid "Who's Now or Hot" or whatever it was, then they had that stupid "Search for Titletown" nonsense and now this.

But anyway back on topic. IMO, it should be(in no particular order)
Steelers
Packers
Cowboys
Chiefs
Raiders

You're ALWAYS guaranteed to see a LARGE following of these teams at away games. ESPECIALLY for Steeler and Packer Fans. I know in the DC Area(MD,DC,VA)half of the fans FROM here are Cowboy Fans. IMO, the Skins have MORE hatred for the Cowboys than the Eagles do. Example: Redskins could go 1-15 or 2-14 and maybe wouldn't even care, just as long as those 1 or 2 victories are against the Cowboys. Talk about hatred.

Re: ESPN Names NFL's Best Fans

That list, shockingly, is pretty much on point. The top three are definitely correct (you could flip 1 and 2 if you really wanted to).

The Patriots fans shouldn't be so high. Before they were great, I didn't know of any or realize that they were even big in their own city. They were certainly 4th among major sports teams for a LONG time. All of the Bears fans I know are insane. I'd flip the Pats and Bears. Eagles fans are rabid, but they are notoriously nasty and the five that I know are also probably the five biggest d-bags I know. Passionate, yes, but ugh...the worst.

Re: ESPN Names NFL's Best Fans

BTW, the Falcons fans should be dead last. Atlanta is America's worst sports town (of the major cities with teams). Their fans are lifeless and don't seem to care one way or the other.

Houston is just as guilty. Houston fans have a history of blahness.

Cowboys?

Except for the ones on here, but when the 'Boys are terrible or mediocre, you don't hear a peep from Cowboy fans. When they're good, they come out of the cracks like cockroaches. Top 5? Nah uh.
