At this point I don't see what is wrong with signing an agent and taking a minimum vet deal? He would have to be close to a mil a year.

The way I see it, he should take a 1 year deal for whatever he can find and just try to show the NFL what he can do on the field with whatever team. Then if he has some success, I think he can start his negotiations.

My thoughts exactly. Time to suck it up and prove yourself all over again, sports is a performance business. Right now the jury is that you were great at throwing alley-oops to Randy Moss into triple coverage and hitting the other Hall of Fame Receiver Carter who wound up with single coverage.

You play the cards dealt you, you were dealt a Royal Flush early, now you're holding a pair of deuces, stop playing it like it's a full house.

I'd love to see Culpepper in the CFL, mobile QBs do great up there, but realistically if he can find a solid backup job at the NFL min he should jump on it, whatever it takes to get back on the field. I feel bad for the guy though.
