Team Captains

I was watching the game tonight and noticed that the Redskins have Jason Campbell a team captain this yr, and with Brett Favre being named an offense captain this week. I wanted to make a post and see what other players are captains this year and if everybody could give a input on their team captains this year.

Favre being named captain almost seems like they're doing it just because.

LG Brian Waters, CB Patrick Surtain, LB Pat Thomas, and S Jon McGraw for the Chiefs.

Brian Waters: 3 time pro bowler (04, 05, 06), only (last I heard), offensive lineman to receive the offensive player of the week award.

That's really the only notable info.

Just FYI if you didnt notice. If this is your second year being a team captian. You have two gold stars (Eli Manning). I thought that was pretty cool.

Other qbs that I know are captains are tom brady (his team doesnt wear the patch though) and philip rivers (his team doesn't wear the patch). Hope I helped you out.
