Report: Brady out for the year with torn ACL

per Tom Curran

If this scuttlebutt is true then that's the end of Brady's season.

Re: Jets assume Brady has torn ACL

I'm going to wait until the MRI tomorrow instead of listening to pure assumption and rumors.

Didn't look good but I'd like to think he could be back in 4-6 weeks.

As mentioned in the game thread, atleast we have a favorable schedule the next month or so.

I dont think thats the case it didnt look as bad as carsons injury could be just a sprain but if thats true. They really really need to look at daunte culpepper and bring him out of retirement.

We're not going after Culpepper. Belichick is very content with Cassel and O'Connell as our backups.

As much as having Cassel starting worries me, he looked solid today and he's better than Culpepper.

Re: Jets assume Brady has torn ACL

Moss' thoughts:

"I don't really want to get into it, but me personally, I think it was dirty," Moss said (thanks to Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe and his excellent blog on that get). "Like I said, I didn't really see anything. I was running down the field. When I came back in (and watched it), it looked dirty to me. I've never been a dirty player. I honestly don't even know how to play dirty. I just play the game. Any time you see something like that, that looks foul, it looks dirty, it opens your eyes. So, me personally, it looked dirty."

I saw the play, not sure it was dirty but Moss is Moss.

Ugh, Moss...

It wasn't dirty. Injuries happen. End of story.

Re: Jets assume Brady has torn ACL

Yeah I didn't think it was that dirty of a play either. Pollard was on the ground and lunged at Brady's leg to try and take him down.

Sucks for the Pats if this is true though.
