Carson Palmer - most overrated player in the NFL.

OP op op op...you don't really hate your QB, you hate your franchise. It's just that the QB is the face of a NFL team so he gets a lot of the blame for cincy's crappy O-Line, Run game, play calling, TEs, and oh BTW...you should insert Chad Ocho Stinko's name into your thread title...not Palmers.

I bet the Vikings, Bears, Lions, Bucs, Chiefs,...you get the point...would love to have Carson...

Carson is still a good Quarterback, it's just that after his injury he has gotten really sloppy with his mechanics. That's all. And he also doesn't have the best relationship with his number one reciever either.

Well his high pass cheese for one. All of his passes are usually high as hell.

I used to be worried about Carson against the Ravens... but that was before his "accident". Ever since then he's been deified by the media and especially Joe Theissman. The last few times against the Ravens I failed to see what all the fuss was about. We shut him down, period. IMO, overated... yes.

If we think like that then there are a lot of so called great players we can call overrated based on what they've done against the Ravens D.

Also keep in mind that Chris Henry has destroyed the Ravens. Palmer's accident or not, that oline and lack of having Henry has a big effect on the matchup against BAL.

Like I said, I don't think he should be mentioned on the top tier. Second tier? Absolutely. But I'm saying, IMO, he's the #11 QB in the league. He hasn't played very well over the last 20 games or so. I'm hoping that changes Sunday against Dallas.
