Hey guys if you got NFLN then this is just a heads up. This is a supplemental to the original America's Game series and focuses on I belive 6 franchises that have come very close but didn't win a SB.

Tonight at 10 EST we start off with the '81 Chargers "sigh". In two weeks time they'll be doing the '90 Buffalo Bills "double sigh"

I've seen the commercials for this and man these guys are mostly still sad, depressed and broken up over those events all these years later. I think in terms of drama this will be even better then the original America's Game. Originally Steve Sabol wanted to do it exactly like the original and focus on every SB loser but the NFL nixed that idea for some reason. This was the compromise. I'm sure if it gets strong ratings and acclaim he'll probably be allowed to do more focusing on the losing teams.

If they do one on the Browns, will it be the '80 Browns, '86 Browns, or '87 Browns? I'm guessing '80 since they would have had the easiest Super Bowl matchup.

If they were to do the Browns it'd most likely be '86 for the whole drama of "The Drive".

I'm looking forward to watching it.

On Oct. 16th they'll be profiling the 1998 Vikings. One of the greatest offenses of all-time.

They have to be one of the featured teams don't they? Four straight Super Bowl losses. Talk about missing rings.
