Re: Not so breaking news: Kiffin out in Oakland

You know I never thought I would say this, but it is about time the NFL seized control of the Raiders franchise away from Al Davis. I mean really, when the Oakland Raiders hired Lane Kiffin as a head coach in the NFL he was being courted by Florida State to be their Offensive Coordinator. Think about that range of jobs, I mean really, who honestly thought he could go from a College OC to an NFL HC? The Raiders franchise is a complete joke right now and it isn't like anyone will get the opporunity to turn it around since they get fired after a year or so.

Anyone think Al Davis resembles Jigsaw?

Of course, the funny thing is that Davis will replace Kiffin with the sole reason the Raiders lost the game yesterday, Rob Ryan.

Why they completely changed their defensive strategy in the fourth quarter when they were blitzkrieging Buffalo all game is beyond me.

So Al would have his reason to fire Kiffin and replace him with Rob Ryan. Don't get to cozy Rob, its only a matter of time you are on the chopping block. I mean you're bound to blow it at some point. You've already blown games against Denver and Buffalo and of course Al Davis.

It would be depressing. @ least Detroit has the hope that Millen will get fired. If you're a Raider fan, you're left w/perennial losing, hoping Davis dies or has a debilitating stroke. Neither would make you feel good about yourself.

I heard that, during the draft, Kiffin wasn't allowed to sit in the draft room? Is that true? I heard he wasn't allowed in any personnel meetings at all.
