Plus lord only knows what Al Davis says when he hires them about backing off and understanding it will be a process to fix this team. At this point he has made the circa 1980's George Steinbrenner look like a patient man.

That's why Shanahan kills the Raiders. Gruden wiped them out. Marcus Allen used to destroy them. Davis illicits a humongous hatred in his former employees that turns them into football "supermen" when they see silver & black.

It'll be interesting what will happen when the Raiders play the Bucs & Kiffin's father.

Apparently, Kiffin hasn't been fired. Yet.

How this team can have any reasonable success so long as the question of the head coach's employment looms large over the team is anyone's guess. Either fire him or don't and get it over with.

Al being Al. You'd think that professional football players could still function with this, but I guess not. It's not like high school or college where the coach is the real boss. It takes huge balls to demand millions of dollars in salary, then slack off because the ownership takes all the "authority" from the head coach.
