I have a feeling we might see Grossman tonight at some point.

Seriously........

This is the same team that has given away two games in a row, should be sitting undefeated at the top of the North, but they are 1-2 and just flat out sucked in the final qtr's of each loss to the Panthers and Buc's.

There have been some nice components to this year, but in the end, "the Bears are who we thought they are".

Good teams do not give 400 yards to Brian Griese( AT HOME MIND YOU), good teams do not have stupid penalty after stupid penalty ( yes #33 I am looking at you Mr. Tillman ) We are not that great at stopping the run either. That Colts win, while not a fluke, was severely overblown due to the fact that 80% of the Colts line was gone or banged up badly and a very rusty Harrison and Manning.

We are just an average team, with average players and at the end of the year, we will have an average record........It would be nice if once in awhile the front office, the head coach, the offensive cord. gave us a reason to have some faith, instead of just relying on it's fans to have blind faith.

I will say the team is better than what I expected when the season started.

Bears 13
Eagles 34

Go Bears!!!!!

Yep. I was expecting a 5-win team, but the Bears look like an 8-win team instead. Still not good enough on offense or consistent enough on defense to keep pace with the Eagles or any other upper-tier playoff contender.

Chicago 13

I can't wait for Bears fans to call for Hanie mid-season.

He might be in the 3rd quarter after Orton and Grossman are taken off in body bags. Whos our 4th stringer?
